AARON CARTER DEAD AT 34

Source: https://www.tmz.com

The singer-turned-rapper and actor was found dead Saturday at his house in Lancaster, CA ... multiple sources tell us Aaron's body was found in his bathtub. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ they received a 911 call at 11 AM Saturday that a male had drowned in the tub.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... homicide detectives have been dispatched to the scene, but we have no information or evidence of foul play. It's standard operating procedure for homicide detectives to investigate such death scenes.

After his first album sold a million copies, Aaron's second album, "Aaron's Party," tripled that number ... and from there he became a regular on Nickelodeon.

Aaron also used to tour with the Backstreet Boys during their heyday ... his older brother Nick was part of the hugely popular boy band.

Seems like all of the kids have had substance abuse problems. The sister OD'd at 25 y/o, and now this.

I feel sorry for them, for having such a toxic upbringing that they never could figure out how to find peace in their lives.

It was one of those situations where the parents (who had a bad marriage) decided to quit their jobs and becomevl their children's managers, making their children, first Nick, then Aaron, the family breadwinner.

The Coogan Law requires that parent/managers set up an account for the child and deposit 15% of their earnings. Only 15%! Nick still has some money, but when Aaron turned 18, his account basically had nothing but debts to the IRS. His father died of a heart attack at age 65. The mother has had her own addiction problems.

Sorry they let you down Aaron. RIP

and thinking how the whole family needed help. I wish they had sought the help they needed to find peace in life. Very sad news indeed.

This happens much too often. It is long past time for the whole of Hollywood to step up to the plate and help those in need within their community.

RIP Aaron

It puts terrible people on a pedestal and gives them a megaphone to be as terrible as possible (see: The Apprentice, the Kardashians, and so on) and on the flip side it gives people an excuse to make fun of people who legitimately need help (like the Carters for instance). It's definitely a burden on modern society.

Ironically we talked just the other week how it is when the first of your favorite singers/musicians of your youth dies. Mine was John Lennon and I told her that it would eventually happen to her as well and it did, the next week.
Now I'm an old duffer of 70 the tv, movie, and music stars of my youth are routinely dying. Such is life, or death.
