A member of the Kansas congressional delegation has lost much of his power to affect the fiscal cliff negotiations.

Rep. Tim Huelskamp was removed from the House Budget Committee and the House Agriculture Committee because, he said, he didn't vote often enough with his fellow Republicans.

Huelskamp is a strong conservative and said he thinks leaders aren't sure they can depend on him voting in line with his party. He blasted the decision at the conservative Heritage Foundation.

"What this sends is a message that dissent will not be tolerated, especially from conservatives," he said. "It must be out of favor now."

Huelskamp's removal from the House Agriculture Committee marks the first time in 150 years that the committee hasn't had a Kansan.

Ahhh the irony.....A Teabagger complaining about tolerance.....A Teabagger who demands their Representatives walk in lock-step or be Primaried......
