Washington County GOP chairman resigns after taking hits for email attacking Democrats as communists

Gary Bray, the newly elected Washington County Republican chairman, resigned his post just hours after The Oregonian published a controversial email in which he accused Democrats of seeking "utopian enslavement."

Bray said in an early Wednesday morning email resigning his post that it quickly became evident to him that the political position "has not been a good fit" for him and that he would instead focus on his wholesale lumber business.

Greg Leo, the chief of staff of the Oregon Republican Party, said Bray came under pressure to resign from local Republican legislators.

"... I really don’t want a job where people fight and claw to hold onto whatever they have and will stab you in the back if they don’t like what you are doing. That is not the job I applied for and not the one I care to take. So I am turning everything over to Lea Williams to handle and the Executive Committee can move forward. I am resigning my Chairmanship and Area Chair ..."

This is the way Democrats think

Liberalism is an atheistic cult. The DNC is actually communism wrapped in their liberal religion to mask the fact they are attempting to create their utopian enslavement. The first thing Communists want is to take God out of all government institutions such as schools and government to be replaced with secularism. Secularism is an atheistic belief which replaces the Bible’s Ten Commandments and teachings of honesty and integrity with moral relativism. One can lie, cheat and steal if the end justifies the means. This gives the government officials, elitists and leaders free reign to make up morality as they see fit and declare what is right and wrong. Rather than having personal morality or responsibility they believe in a social morality allowing them to live an immoral personal life and having it absolved through social morality.

The Democrats have replaced personal morality with social morality which means to be a good person you no longer have to worry about your personal failings but your societal failings. This allows you to put the social good in front of your personal responsibilities to make yourself a good person. You can be a drug addict, leave your family in shambles or steal from your boss but, as long as you drive a Prius and are concerned about polar bears, you are a good person. You can live any immoral lifestyle you want and, as long as you believe in Social Justice, you are a saintly person in their belief system. This is where the cult lifestyle comes in since you have to take God out of your life and replace it with social morality to work yourself into goodness. Liberals earn their way into their heaven of a perfect liberal.

Liberalism is a Godless religion whose High Priests are scientists. ....

I clicked on the Oregon Live link about the story. It notes that this bozo wrote a book a few years ago...

Bray has long been known for his outspoken comments, both in a blog and in a book, "Brayn Food: For the Tea Patriot Hungry for the Truth," which he self-published in 2010.

I clicked on the link for the book which took me to the amazon page. Of course it only had a few reviews all of which say they know him personally (so no one read his book but they are writing reviews as a favor). The very first review said this.

Disclaimer: I know this author by my association with the web site FreeRepublic. He is a poster to that online politically Conservative forum and for about four years now I looked forward to his essays on that forum

Gary Bray is quite seriously wacko, nearly bankrupted by the economic collapse, he blames the downturn on Obama!!

The Holy Spirit has guided my life for almost four years now. I was called right after Ocommie was elected and have been writing editorials once or twice a week since then. His election and the Obama meltdown directly affected me financially as one of my biggest customers declared bankruptcy while owing me a substantial amount of money. This debt was secured by a large investor in the auto industry who also took a beating and although I have been suffering financially there was never poverty in faith.

Jesus tests our faith in difficult times to prepare you for better days. God has always provided no matter how dark since there was always a view of doing his work and exposing the darkness. A year ago I was near bankruptcy ...

We have groups of people working in the darkest part of the country spreading the word and beginning to speak the truth of freedom to the Oregon Earth cultists. God has carried us through and now he has rewarded us with a flood of mercy. His mercy is what keeps the enslaved free and gives light to the blind. We are seeing a revival and change starting in the place the Dirt Worshipers began, Oregon.

for about 20 years, now I'm in Multomah, which is next door to Washington, and MUCH bluer. Oregon tends to vote blue overall, but we do have a few nutjobs here and there, like this one and Art Robinson.
