I wonder when mail in voting in Georgia starts?
Btw. Jimmy if you need me I will drive you to early voting or to drop off your paper
ballot @ a drop box. May the graces of the world keep you until 11/5/24 to see
Vice President win Georgia and the national election.

(74,701 posts)@ an early voting location as the people of Plains line the streets and cheer him on. I know that
wont happen and that if he makes to mid October he will vote by mail but the man is a true hero.
Btw I have been around some Presidential or running for President events and things about
the shooting in PA just doesnt pass my smell test.
Btw part 2 I really hope that Jimmy makes it to vote but stories about him sleeping more and
more might mean his end is close. How long has he been in hospice now?

The Harris campaign is also being joined by Stephanie Cutter, a Democratic communications veteran who previously served as Obama's White House communications director and deputy campaign manager. Cutter will join the Harris campaign as senior adviser on strategy messaging.
Cutter's firm is on contract to produce the Democratic National Convention in August.
Other Obama alums joining the campaign include Mitch Stewart, who worked on both Obama campaigns and will come in as senior adviser on battleground states. David Binder, who led Obama's public opinion research operation, will expand his role on the Harris campaign to lead the opinion research operation.
All of the new hires will report to Harris campaign chair Jen O'Malley Dillon, another veteran of Obama's two campaigns who also who managed President Joe Biden's 2020 campaign and built his 2024 operation from the White House.

I know it's a Republican state government but Kemp and Raffensperger should work with his staff to arrange to let president Carter vote at the legally earliest possible moment.

(6,012 posts)There would have been no Ronald Reagan presidency, and the Fed's action to control stagflation and create a booming economy would be credited to Carter, not Reagan, as Carter would have been President in late 1983-1984. Carter was the one who appointed Fed chairman Volcker in 1979. Hoping that Carter will have a chance to participate in a historical moment once again in November by voting for Harris.
