I am so pissed, these assholes have a solution to push for cops in schools! I was a school committee member for 10 years and tried to stop cops in our little town from being at the high school of 400 kids. It was bullshit it was just to get an officer a job to do and take up valuable space in the school. Violate the students rights and harass kids they didn't like!!
On top of that we had to pay for them out of the school budget!! I was a lone voice of protest for years and felt if the cop had an office and computer supplied by school funds he should only be doing school related work and there was none. He did lots of town police work on our dime. I also found they sent the losers to the schools the cops they even couldnt stand to have around the station. The two I worked with were the worst. Who is the cop supposed to be protecting the students from? And who is protecting the students from the cops?
