To watch in widescreen click "turn on closed captioning" then to get rid of the captions click the "CC" icon once the screen switches to 16 . That's weird.

I'm watching CSPAN right now, and the House Minority Leader is having her conference. (Oddly to watch CSPAN in widescreen rather than cropped 4:3 you need to click "turn on closed captioning" then you can use the CC icon button to toggle the CC.)

NYT reports:

President Obama is considering a “Plan B” of his own to avert a fiscal crisis in the New Year, a bill to extend expiring Bush-era tax rates on incomes below $250,000, with a measure to temporarily suspend automatic, across-the-board spending cuts and an extension of unemployment insurance benefits, Democratic officials said Friday.

"The plan would do nothing to cut spending or put into motion changes to entitlement programs like Medicare,

nor would it head off showdowns early next year on raising the nation’s statutory borrowing limit

or keeping the government running when a stopgap spending law runs out in March.

But it would prevent a fiscal jolt in less than two weeks."

Nothing accomplished, constant threats to the nation. Republicans are terrorists.
