Tatiana Schlossberg, daughter of Caroline Kennedy and granddaughter of President John F. Kennedy, has died following a battle with acute myeloid leukemia.
"Our beautiful Tatiana passed away this morning," the JFK Library Foundation said in a statement on Tuesday. "She will always be in our hearts."

(112,710 posts)was targeted to her rare form of leukemia. Not that it necessarily would have afforded an "emergency compassion" intervention at this stage, but it was halted before it could even be explored as such.
I am so sorry for this brave woman, her poor children and husband, Carolyn and husband, Edwin, and all the others who desperately wanted to save her. And I curse those who did NOTHING but put obstacles in her way. I don't think I need to name them.
But, for Tatiana... May there be a peaceful realm, free of pain and full of comfort that awaits.
