Conservative Group Goes After McConnell Over Fiscal Cliff Deal

Conservative group ForAmerica on Wednesday launched an ad targeting Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) over the deal he brokered to avert the fiscal cliff.
The ad, according to a release, will run in Kentucky and on sites like The Drudge Report, foxnews.com and The Daily Caller.
ForAmerica Chairman Brent Bozell, also the president and founder of the conservative Media Research Center, said in a statement:
Senator McConnell often talks a tough game and sells himself as a conservative, but his actions speak louder than his words. His role as President Obamas bag man in the latest fiscal cliff disaster clearly demonstrates that Senator McConnell is more interested in the art of the bad deal rather than standing up and fighting for conservative principles. It is time for conservatives to stand up to politicians in both parties who talk conservative but govern as liberals."
