7. Here's how this played out

The Pakistan offer was already being reviewed before Trump's goofy nuclear threat.

Trump made his threat (part of the negotiation). The Iranians got to puff up their chest and say fuck you (part of the deal). Pakistan made the offers public. The Iranians were permitted to reject it. Trump was required to say he accepted it first, subject to etc. The Iranians will reluctantly accept it.

Through Pakistan and China, the Iranians will receive a boatload of rebuilding money, probably from the Saudis.

The war is over.

President Trump said Tuesday he has agreed to a "double sided CEASEFIRE" with Iran, less than two hours before his deadline for Iran to either cut a deal with the U.S. or face massive strikes on its power plants.

"I agree to suspend the bombing and attack of Iran for a period of two weeks," the president wrote on Truth Social.

He said the agreement, brokered by Pakistan, was "subject to the Islamic Republic of Iran agreeing to the COMPLETE, IMMEDIATE, and SAFE OPENING of the Strait of Hormuz."
