Trump takes down Truth Social post of AI image portraying him as Jesus
Source: The Hill

The AI image posted by President Trump on his Truth Social platform depicting himself as Jesus Christ appears to have been removed from his account. The link where the image previously was posted on Sunday, which was Orthodox Easter, now reads This resource could not be found on Monday afternoon. The Hill has reached out to the White House for comment.
The image, which showed Trump portrayed as Jesus Christ healing sick people, sparked backlash from some of his own conservative supporters. The image also included Trump appearing in religious garb with his hand on a sick mans head surrounded by his followers, an American flag, eagles and the Statue of Liberty, along with other figures in the sky.
The now-deleted Truth Social post came shortly after Trump posted a lengthy and extremely rare admonishing of Pope Leo XIV, who has expressed opposition to the Iran war without specifically naming Trump. In the hours before the post was taken down Monday morning, a number of some of Trumps most vocal allies from the conservative Christian community called on him to remove the post.
Why? Seriously, I cannot understand why hed post this. Is he looking for a response? Does he actually think this? conservative political activist Riley Gaines wrote on X early Monday, Either way, two things are true, she wrote. 1) a little humility would serve him well 2) God shall not be mocked.

(2,915 posts)are nuclear bombs and chemical weapons (i.e. nerve gas). In both cases, they are Weapons of Mass Destruction.
And his entire justification was that he had "a feeling" that Iran was going to attack the US. How was Iran going to attack the US? Maybe they have some terror cells ready. If they do, none have been activated at any time during this war. And Iran certainly has no ICBM capability that could reach the US.
Why does the media not question this paranoid claim about an imminent attack?

(407 posts)It is blustering when a tinpot dictator threatens to destroy a superpower.
It is unhinged beyond excuse when the President of the USA, the country with the second largest nuclear arsenal, issues such a statement. That threat specifically implies nuclear annihilation ---"never to be brought back again. . ."
In a sane timeline he would have been removed from office.
Oddly, I think that the threat is a lot less likely today. I think the outrage is at least great enough to give cover for the military to ignore an illegal order of genocide. I think the imbecile is still quite capable of issuing such an order ---which is why I can't understand the hesitation to remove the insane man from power through impeachment or 25th amendment.

(194 posts)these surprised, reflexive comments is vomit inducing. Not because they feign shock by the bridge too far of Trumps pseudoChrist cartoon. Do not be fooled- they are still just fine with the antichrist emulation, but any questionable embarrassment or shame is as short-lived as converts at a J Swaggart crusade.
If ever the last vestige of wisdom was graciously gifted to these Trump crusaders 11 years ago by a creator , it flew over them shielded by their red, maga helmets.

(4,128 posts)This means nothing. If anything, it's Trump's way of testing his followers in Congress and in places of power. If they don't take concrete actions to keep him in line, then he figures they won't stop him when he acts on more important matters of his "attention".

Thou shalt always TACO Trump 3:16, quipped Tommy Christopher, writer and editor for Mediaite and former White House reporter, in a social media post on X to his more than 25,000 followers.....
Later on Monday morning, however, Trump or his staffers appeared to have deleted the social media post, prompting some to take further digs at the president, including California Gov. Gavin Newsom.
Now delete your presidency, Newsom wrote in a social media post on X to his nearly 3 million followers.

If he did actually think it portrayed him as a doctor, then that's a dementia test he's failed.
