Ukraine will unite with Europe's security system -- or Europe will become part of Russia, Zelensky says

President Volodymyr Zelensky praised Ukraine's defense industry and its importance to European security in an address on April 13.

The president's speech marked Ukraine's Defense Industry Worker Day, an annual holiday established in 2023 and observed on April 13.

Zelensky acknowledged workers in the arms industry as the "invisible heroes of our defense," while highlighting Ukraine's technological achievements and the long-term security partnerships Kyiv has formed with its allies.

" (W)e are building new cooperation with partners on weapons differently than in the 1990s or 2000s, when Ukrainian weapons and military capabilities were sold off like on Black Friday," Zelensky said.

1. The U.S. could be heading into a form of isolation

The world hates Trump so much that his departure will not absolve us from the guilt of having elected him twice. Europe is going to form alliances to protect it from us electing another Trump.

Putin is an old, sick man, and when he dies, there could be a similar event to what just happened in Hungary, where democracy takes over and Russia quickly moves to align itself with Europe. In that scenario, America would be on the outside.

very possible. I've thought a lot about NATO and what happens if Trump betrays NATO. There are organizations in place within Europe that if expanded can take a role similar to NATO but without the United States. I'm convinced that from Truman to Eisenhower to Kennedy and beyond, ex-Presidents are either turning in their grave or losing sleep over this. Deserting NATO would be the biggest catastrophic mistake and foreign policy blunder in U.S. history.

The propaganda machine has riled up racists, women haters, and general idiots that even if we flush the trump turd, we have a TON of work to do in congress and locally.

With 2016 and then 2024, Europe will be waiting to see if its just a blip or we are serious about getting rid of the facists.
