2nd Mayor Says Obama ‘Wasn’t Tense At All’ During Brewer Encounter

http://tpmmuckraker.talkingpointsmemo.com/2012/01/2nd_mayor_says_obama_wasnt_tense_at_all_during_bre.php

Out of the three officials who met President Obama on an airport tarmac near Phoenix earlier this week, Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer (R) is now the only one who has characterized the president as anything other than cordial.

-snip-

But Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton, who was standing just feet away from the president and the governor on Wednesday during their now-infamous encounter, told TPM that Obama seemed calm the whole time.

“He wasn’t tense at all,” Stanton said on Friday. “The guy’s a pro.”

Though Stanton declined to discuss exactly what the governor and president said to each other, he said Obama’s classic coolness was evident.

One of my first rules of engagement is that the first one who gets visibly pissed off loses. brewer lost.

Are you just trying to get a laugh, or are you really that ignorant? NO PRESIDENT EVER WAS DISRESPECTED AS MUCH AS BUSH! I know you know that, so why the hypocrisy? No one can disagree with Obama without being called a racist. Go to Youtube and watch Brian Williams point his finger in Bush's face several times. Did you complain then? Of course not! You didn't even hear about it. Your theory is shot down. It's amazing how thin-skinned liberals are and at the same time so malicious and vicious.

You do remember that this was the worst economic crisis since the depression, right?
Bush relaxed regulation of banks who then manipulated mortgages which caused the crash. It didn't help that at the same time he was cutting taxes AND fighting TWO wars all at the same time.

Brewer needs to remember the POTUS, who ever they are can, include and exclude any one they want from getting within a mile of them.

What ever Brewer's issue, she abused Obama's hospitality, which shows just had tacky she is.

Oh, and Jan, next time you meet a real VIP wash and comb your hair, you are embarrassing the women of America.

I wonder what the SS guys would have done if she had actually poked him, remembering how closely they hovered over him during the meet and greet at the State of the Union? They didn't even trust the Congress persons to not take a shot at him.
