Obama, Clinton to Give Joint Interview

Source: Wall Street Journal

From Senate colleagues to political rivals to allies, President Barack Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton are now adding talk show duo to the annals of their closely watched relationship.

Mr. Obama and Mrs. Clinton will sit for a joint interview set to air Sunday on “60 Minutes,” CBS News and White House officials said.

The interview, to be taped Friday afternoon at the White House with CBS’ Steve Kroft, will be among Mrs. Clinton’s last appearances before she leaves her post.

It also comes amid speculation of whether the former first lady will make another run for the White House in 2016, after Mr. Obama leaves office. The 2016 election is already shaping up to be a test of Mr. Obama’s loyalties, with Vice President Joe Biden also considering a run for the Democratic nomination.

The unofficial passing of the baton? First AA president and future first woman president? Here's hoping that it becomes a reality.
