100 days in, Obama exudes second-term confidence

CNN) -- President Barack Obama confidently declared that his administration will get things done in Washington despite an atmosphere he described as divided and politically dysfunctional.

Speaking at a press conference 100 days into his second term, Obama fielded a range of questions on topics including Syria and the Boston Marathon attack, and he defended his administration's actions and positions.

Or maybe he just doesn't give a shit about what our opinion of him is.

Because I think the level of confidence in his policies (not him necessarily) is lower than it has ever been. It may even be approaching bush levels.

And the analogy to Bush level approval ratings is complete bullshit.

Dont extend the Patriot Act. Stop domestic spying. Stop torturing prisoners at Guantanamo.

Dont cut Social Security or Medicare.

Stop persecuting and prosecuting whistle-blowers.

Stop persecuting medical marijuana users.

Stop appointing corporate leaders to regulating positions.
