Police: Iranian blows off legs in Bangkok blast
BANGKOK (AP) -- An Iranian man carrying explosives blew off his own legs and wounded four other people in two blasts Tuesday in Bangkok, Thai authorities said.
Security forces found more explosives in the assailant's rented house in the capital, but it was not known what targets they might have been meant for, Police Gen. Pansiri Prapawat said.
A day earlier, an Israeli diplomatic car was bombed in New Delhi, and Israel blamed Iran for that attack. Authorities did not immediately say if a link was suspected, but Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesman Yigal Palmor said in Jerusalem, "we can't rule out any possibility."
One of the blasts in Bangkok damaged a taxi, and a grenade detonated as the assailant carried it down a sidewalk outside a Thai school, said Col. Warawut Taweechaikarn, a senior police officer in the district.

Three explosions rocked Sukhumvit 71 in Bangkok on Tuesday afternoon, badly injuring an Iranian man who lost both his legs.
Another man was arrested at Suvarnabhumi airport after police discovered explosive materials in a house rented by three Iranians in Soi Pridiphanomyong 31.
Four other people were injured in the blasts.Government spokeswoman Thitima Chaisaeng said police reported the house was being used to make bombs and had uncovered a cache of C4 explosives and remote control detonating devices.She said a bomb went off inside the rented house and two of the three men fled.
The third man, identified as Saeid Moradi, followed and tried to hail a taxi, which refused to stop. Police said he threw a bomb at the taxi, injuring the driver, and ran off. He then was spotted by police and threw a third bomb at them, but it bounced off a tree and blew his legs off. He was rushed to Kluaynamthai Hospital.

After the robbery the maid calls the police and has a license plate and the Police capture two of the theives almost immediately.

He is unaware that the police have already recovered B 12 million and are negotiated with a third thief to surrender B 30 million and the thieves say that others were involved and the total taken was B 200 million.
In Thailand all politicians and top bureacrats have to declare all of their assets. If their assets are found to have dramatically increased while they were in positions of power they are presumed guilty unless they can prove that the gain wasn't due to bribery.
The PS is removed from his position and is facing corruption charges.
