Dogs Against Romney protesting at Westminster

http://content.usatoday.com/communities/gameon/post/2012/02/dogs-against-romney-group-protesting-westminster/1#.Tzq7p8XDf8A

An animal advocacy group is using the glitz and glamour of the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in New York to protest Mitt Romney's treatment of animals.

In a press release on the Dogs Against Romney web site, the group invited protesters to gather in front of Madison Square Garden, where the Westminster show continues Tuesday night with the Best in Show honors. It invited "everyone who believes dogs aren't luggage" to participate.

A few protesters and a couple dogs were seen with signs of "Mitt is Mean" and "I Ride Inside."

The group is bringing attention to the story about Romney tying his dog in a crate to the top of his car while driving with his family on vacation.

If the pet is an inconvience on vacation then put it in the kennel or better yet find a family that can give the pet the love it needs

Seems simple to me--and this RMoney clown is supposed to be some sort of corporate genius?

If it has a heartbeat, it rides inside!

Of course, in that case, they shoulda strapped Mittsy to the roof!

AP story, Houston Chronicle

American Kennel Club spokeswoman Lisa Peterson: “The AKC promotes responsible dog ownership. Putting a dog in a crate for car travel is the first step toward responsible dog ownership,” she said. “The second step would be to put that crate in a car.”

"Walking wig". Perfect! I was rooting for the German shepherd, myself, although I would have been happy with any of the big dogs winning. I really don't understand how they judge these things.

they judge each dog against what would be the ideal example of that breed.
I'm guessing that was a near perfect "walking wig"
