Obama Orders US To Review Aid To Cairo After Egyptian Military Ousts President Morsi

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama says he's ordered his administration to review U.S. foreign aid to Egypt after the nation's military ousted Islamist President Mohammed Morsi.

Obama says he's "deeply concerned" by the military's move Wednesday to topple Morsi and suspend Egypt's constitution. But he's not calling the move a coup.

By law, the U.S. must suspend aid to any nation whose elected leader is ousted in a military coup.
