House Dem: Romney was right, GOP doesn't care about the 47 percent

Source: The Hill

Rep. Corrine Brown (D-Fla.) on Thursday said passage of a Republican farm bill that excludes a reauthorized food stamp program shows that Republicans don't care about "the 47 percent."

"Mitt Romney was right, you all do not care about the 47 percent. Shame on you!" she yelled as she pointed to the Republican side of the House.

Earlier actions by Brown had some Republicans suggesting they'd ask for her remarks to be stricken from the record.

After Brown cried "shame on Republicans" during closing debate on the farm bill, Rep. Rob Woodall (R-Ga.) initially asked to stop the proceedings and possibly have her words taken from the record. Woodall then withdrew that request.

But then again,I guess we're just a couple of fucking retarded professional leftists. I have watched the film of FDR's "I welcome their hatred " speech a bunch of times, and keep thinking, is this REALLY that hard to do? But I guess it apparently is.

There are vast regions of america where the average person gets food stamps. Eliminate that and it is like eliminating Social Security. Hunger is a powerful motivating force.

including a large number of so-called Democrats. Democrats and Republicans both deserve to be called out on this. I don't think either party gives a shit about the 47 percent and I sure didn't hear President Obama refusing to sign the Senate's bill even though it included cuts to SNAP.
