Missouri lawmakers fail to override governor's gun bill veto

A controversial gun measure won't become law in Missouri after a push to override the governor's veto fell one vote short of approval in the state's Senate Wednesday. The measure, HB 436, would have essentially nullified federal gun laws in Missouri.

The Show-Me-State Wingnuts were confident they would win on that override and on the vote to override Governor Nixon's veto of a huge tax cut for the wealthy and big corporations. There is no joy in Tea Party land tonight!

I personally know some of the wing nut cases, they are not sure what confrontation they actually desire, just as long as they do not get hurt.

Jay Nixon is all that stands in the way of total nuttery.
