Clinton: I'll 'seriously' consider White House bid 'sometime next year'

Source: NBC News

Hillary Clinton will begin “seriously” considering a bid for president “sometime next year,” the former secretary of state told a business group Friday.

According to Newsday, Clinton conceded during a paid speech to the Long Island Association that a run has been “on my mind.”

“I want to think seriously about it; I probably won't begin thinking about it until sometime next year," Clinton said of a presidential run. "I will think about it because it’s something on a lot of people's minds. And it's on my mind as well. But I want us to think more broadly."

Clinton is widely discussed as a potential Democratic frontrunner for the 2016 presidential election. But she said in her remarks that the attention being paid to the next set of possible candidates is “bad for the country.”

We have already had over 5 years of continuing way too many of bu$h's policies. We certainly don't need another 4 to 8 more years.
We need a real Democrat in the office of President. Not another DLC'er. Hillery is more hawkish than Obama.

We need to start voting for people that will balance the teeter totter. Not just voting for anyone because of name recondition.

Just because they're a "Democrat" doesn't make them worth your vote.

And I won't consider myself a Democrat if that's who the party picks.

know why she would want to run. I'm seriously hoping she doesn't, for lots of reasons. Do we really need Bill roaming around the WH? Although he'll no doubt still be off on his "elder statesman" tour. Ha, let's hope Chelsea gets pregnant and Hill decides she wants to play Grandma. Somehow that scenario doesn't seem likely though. Sigh.

And I'm a constant critiquer of Obama but he's got too much poltiical clout to be stung by a minor-weight in Clinton.

I would go on the boss to say he'll win even it means it will be in 2016. Count on that much there.
