Ohio's GOP Governor may adopt Obamacare via executive order

Source: Talking Points Memo

Dylan Scott – October 9, 2013, 3:59 PM EDT
Ohio Gov. John Kasich (R) is considering accepting Obamacare's Medicaid expansion in his state via executive order, his office confirmed to TPM, after the state legislature stymied his efforts earlier this year.

The possibility was first reported by the Columbus Dispatch. “We continue to explore all our options and just want to get this done," Kasich spokesman Robert Nichols told TPM in an email Wednesday.

Fracking and poisoning the state with waste from neighboring states. Jobs Ohio which has yet to do anything but fill his buddies pockets. Tried unsuccessfully to sell Lake Erie Water with no legal rights.

This guy is maneuvering here for money or political gain....don't be fooled by a fool!

They are like the ones that badmouthed the stimulus package at every turn but showed up for the photo op showing a great big check of stimulus money that they could show in an attempt to bribe for votes the next election.

I am so sick of these. Quite honestly I think I detest lying, hypocrisy and demagoguery more than I do actual violent crime. At least with those crimes there is open, notorious action by one on another that is clear and present. The bad thing with the lying, etc. is the victims often don't even know they are being taken for a ride. That said of course I hate any form of violence be it assault, battery, rape, murder, etc.

...states to decide to set up their own insurance exchanges. After the deadline the federal exchange would cover the state. However, this concerns Medicaid expansion, and per Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services guidance, there is no deadline for states to implement it.

... ok, so a state can take one or the other or both, OR can decline both? Wonder how many red states declined both? I'm just full of questions.

I'll admit he did the right thing and hope other Governors in states where the tea nuts are blocking this in the legislature follow suit.
