large group. You'd think this would such a tiny outlier that you couldn't even find it statistically.

Oh, well, Republicans, you replaced the Whigs - we'll see who replaces you, because there's no doubt you are committing party suicide. If it weren't for the real damage being done to real people, I'd welcome the suicide.

The Tea Party Politicians are well placed deep cover Democratic party moles. The Dem's have been working on this for years if not decades. The Dem's successfully installed these guys to self destruct the GOP. Bill Clinton you are a genius, your legacy is coming to fruition.

On edit: Forgot the sarcasm thingy, just that it is the only reasonable theory I can up with.

I'm still blown away about the lack of care about the average American. I will never understand putting your political party over your country.

People have trouble not confusing some verbs.

"Know" and "believe", for instance. "Think" and "feel," for another. Lots of them.

There's another thread here that mentions it. Something like a 6 month CR, a three-month extension on the debt limit, and repeal the medical devices tax as a concession.

Presumably they voted against the clean, one-year Democratic version in order to push their own.

We would be in same situation In 3 months.

Repeal the medical devices tax rewards republicans for all this and hurts the ACA. Then what will they want In 3 months?

Reject any compromises before a Clean CW and Clean raise in dedt ceiling is signed.

The new party will be called the Plutocrat Party. Their motto will be "We do not give a rats as what you little people want" we own every fucking thing so piss off! We will tell you what is good for you. Guess they figure they do not need to hide behind the GOP brand anymore and are ready to kill it.

A way for the minority of Republicans in the Senate to reinforce majority power in the House. It gives the minority party an effective veto power.
