Terminal evacuated at Birmingham airport
Source: CNN
A terminal at Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport in Alabama has been evacuated, the airport said on its Twitter account Sunday.
The evacuation was prompted by a threat received around 4 p.m., the airport said. No other information was immediately available.
The incident comes just days after a gunman opened fire in the Los Angeles International Airport, killing a TSA officer and wounding three other people.

(154,021 posts)that is all I will say at this point. In fact, will send an email to my BIL from the local media, since we are kind of interested in these things. Why? It matters to here no more.
Sorry, I could add to your story, but a swarm has made it plainly clear that they do not want that info. But go to local media, there are more details there. The story *is* per usual, changing, and fast.
