SFO-bound plane delayed by Denver bomb threat

A United Airlines flight bound for San Francisco was delayed in Denver this morning after authorities were notified of a bomb threat to the plane.

Passengers on United Flight 869 boarded an alternate plane and continue their journey to San Francisco, said Jenny Schiavone, a spokeswoman at Denver International Airport.

Airport authorities received the bomb threat at 7:30 a.m. and removed baggage for rescreening. Passengers had not yet boarded and were not evacuated from the terminal, Schiavone said.
