George Zimmerman lists painting on eBay to tens of thousands of dollars in bids.

Source: New York Daily News

George Zimmerman is taking eBay by storm while armed with only a paintbrush.

Bidding wars over an original painting crafted by the former neighborhood cop is raising tens of thousands of dollars in just its first few hours listed for sale.

The signed painting of a blue American flag was listed Monday with a starting bid of $50 before skyrocketing to more than $99,000 while under the username 'theRealGeorgeZ.'

in criminal law a couple nights per week, taking Mixed Martial Arts courses a couple nights a week, and had volunteered to go on 'ride alongs' with the Sanford Police Department. And, no doubt, the asshole thought his lock on getting a job as a police officer would be to apprehend and make a citizens arrest of one of the 'assholes that always get away' who'd been robbing his neighborhood.

As for the bidding, it's probably real. If there were enough shitheads in the country to heroize this loser, and give him $100 000 for his criminal defense, I have no doubt there were at least ten of them who have enough money to bid on his tacky painting.

After all, remember what happened with that creep MARK FURHMAN after the O.J. Simpson trial? He resigned from the LAPD (probably a good idea, considering that the asshole who single handedly lost them the trial of the century wouldn't have much of a future there), moved to Montana, and made a living selling autographed pictures of himself for $20 each through the mail.

It almost makes me lose my faith in humanity to see stuff like this.

However, look on the bright side. This could be another $100 000 that the Martin family will get after the Wrongful Death Suit in Civil Court.

I'm not a lawyer, but the pattern I've observed is as follows: Any civil action is always taken AFTER the criminal trial is over. Presumably because A) evidence given in civil court might nullify/spoil evidence presented in criminal court, but the reverse is not true, B) a conviction in criminal court virtually guarantees a victory in civil court, but the reverse is not true, and C) the burden of proof is much lower in civil court. If there is a conviction in criminal court, the civil suit follows QUICKLY, because it's virtually guaranteed to succeed. But if there is an acquittal in criminal court, the civil suit may NOT follow quickly because they're waiting to see if any additional evidence comes out. In this case, waiting for Zimmerman's wife to divorce him, take half his money, and then turn around and testify against him in civil court would have been the perfect strategy.

I know the Martin's successfully sued and settled out of court with the gated community where Zimmerman was a volunteer watchman right away. But that seemed to be a fairly obvious thing to do. I'm not so sure it it would have been a good idea to jump on the civil suit against Zimmerman right away. (Better to wait until the scumbag has sold a few more 'paintings' to racist gun nuts who idolize him, and THEN sue.)

The privilege of spousal communications applies to confidential communications between spouses in marriage. Either party holds the privilege. She can't testify to comments he made during the marriage assuming he invokes the privilege.

But she would have had to heard him comment on the Trayvon Martin situation. Anything else would not be relevant. Of course her credibility would be attacked since she has confessed to making a false report.

Of course Georgie Boy probably doesn't know who Jasper Johns is.

You are bidding on an original, artist signed spray painting of Abe Lincoln holding a sign by street artist Blight. Painting is titled "Question for George Zimmerman". Signature is on the back. Painting measures 20" tall and 16" wide and is on stretched canvas. This painting will make a terrific conversation piece. Remember that this is an original painting, NOT a print or one of those cheap prints on canvas that you see at super stores. The artist created this piece with his own hands.

About the artist: Blight is an active street artist in the United States and has made a habit of leaving paintings on canvas for others to find. His pieces have sold for hundreds of dollars, and the value of his work is growing at an alarming rate. The artist has paintings on at least 4 continents, 12 countries, and 25 states. Blight has degrees in art and psychology, and uses a variety of mediums to create amusing pieces such as this one, and to convey political ideas and address social issues.

COA included with owner tracking. In addition, I am Blight's manager, and authenticity will be confirmed for any buyers who wish to sell one of these paintings in the future.
