Issa To Texas Health Official: 'You Need To Watch More Fox News'

Source: TPM

Caitlin MacNeal – December 17, 2013, 12:02 PM EST

House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-CA) on Monday told Dr. Randy Farris, a Texas health administrator for the federal government, to watch more Fox News after the health official did not satisfactorily answer Issa's questions about HealthCare.Gov, according to the Dallas Morning News.

"You need to watch more Fox News, I'm afraid," Issa retorted after Farris claimed that consumers' personal information was not stored on the health exchange website.

Issa was in Texas presiding over a field hearing focused on exposing flaws in the navigator program, which employs people to help Americans sign up for insurance under the Affordable Care Act.

I think someone who is a doctor and a health administrator for the federal government is more likely to know what is going on on the government healthcare website than a blond bimbo (no offense to blondes on this blog) or a bloviating eunuch (O'Leilly and Insanity come to mind).

We always knew he was dishonest. Now we know he's capable of being suckered, as well.

6. Ya know what? Someone need to call Issa's office and REMIND them that faux news is NOT

a news station. They, themselves, took it before the supreme court to DECLARE that they were an "entertainment" channel, and so they were NOT to be held liable for lying.

They LIE. They SPECIALIZE IN LYING. It is their purpose to "entertain" (as they proclaimed before the supreme court) , NOT to tell real news.

It is a sad state of affairs that the US Supreme court would ALLOW that, but it was a REPUBLICAN supreme court that ruled it. So what can you say?

Crooked as a dog's hind leg.

Mr Chairman, While you entertain us with Faux Noise's court-approved lies, I think the American people prefer to be led from facts.
While you continue to advocate Faux Noise, Mr Chairman, you can never be taken seriously.

14. You can only insure something in which you have an insurable interest

If Issa declares an insurable interest in Faux Noise, we have him on undeclared financial ties, conflict of interest and all sorts of other possibilities.
