Father Of Slain Tsarnaev Associate Asks Obama To Keep FBI Out Of Investigatio

Source: TPM

CATHERINE THOMPSON – DECEMBER 30, 2013, 1:12 PM EST

The father of a man who was killed during questioning about his suspected ties to an alleged Boston Marathon bomber has written an open letter to President Barack Obama asking him to keep the FBI from interfering with an independent investigation.

Abdul-Baki Todashev, father of Ibragim Todashev, alleges in the letter that the FBI deliberately killed his son, Boston Magazine reported Monday. He also released several graphic photos of his son's body and apartment with the letter.

The younger Todashev was shot to death by authorities in May while being questioned about his ties to Tamerlan Tsarnaev, officials said, after he lunged at an FBI agent with a knife. Conflicting reports that he may have been unarmed during the confrontation later emerged.

From Todashev's letter, as quoted by Boston Magazine:

“Did my son know that he had the right to remain silent or did he have rights at all, including the right to live? Being a citizen of another country he might not be aware of the laws as he was only 27 years old and wanted to live so much. No, they left no chances for him inflicting 13 gunshot wounds and multiple hematomas on his body. After what FBI agents have done to him whatever excuses they come up with nobody would believe them because my son is dead and cannot talk for himself. They did it deliberately so that he can never speak and never take part in court hearings. They put pressure on my son’s friends to prevent them from coming to the court and speaking the truth.

I'm saying the older brother was a government informant and they know that this could have been prevented. Wow...people are so eager to dispel conspiracy theories that they will go out of their way to excuse bad actors. I remember when a US Marshal got caught running the biggest asian sex slave ring in Vegas and when government agents were exposed bringing the majority of cheap cocaine to the US. Are those conspiracy theories too? Does that mean the entire government was involved? No...just a bunch of self-serving, rogue agents working for a few powerful bad people with nefarious agendas.

The one with the younger brother dropping his white bag?

How do we know his bag was the bomb? Doesn't look likely. The FBI was looking out for black backpacks.

...the outsourced, privatized heavily funded shadow government. By set up I mean shut up and I'm sorry but their are billions if not trillions of dollars at stake with the war on terror and certain contractors have to make sure there are terrorist incidents to keep the faucet flowing. A hundred or even a thousand lives mean nothing to killers who have partaken in atrocities every day.

4. So that was true in 1934 when Melvin Purvis killed Pretty Boy Floyd
Mon Dec 30, 2013, 04:59 PM
Dec 2013
However, Chester Smith, the retired East Liverpool Police Captain and sharpshooter, described events differently in a 1979 interview for Time magazine. Smith, who was credited with shooting Floyd first, stated that he had deliberately wounded, but not killed, Floyd. He then added: "I knew Purvis couldn't hit him, so I dropped him with two shots from my .32 Winchester rifle." According to Smith's account, after being wounded, Floyd fell and did not regain his footing. Smith then disarmed Floyd. At that point, Purvis ran up and ordered: "Back away from that man. I want to talk to him." Purvis questioned Floyd briefly, and after receiving curses in reply ordered agent Herman "Ed" Hollis to "Fire into him." Hollis then shot Floyd at point-blank range with a sub-machine gun, killing him. The interviewer asked if there was a cover-up by the FBI, and Smith responded: "Sure was, because they didn't want it to get out that he'd been killed that way."

Now, the FBI disputes this account, saying only FBI agents were present, the Sheriff deputies were some place else. This makes no sense, while the FBI are known glory hounds, they know the local tend to know the local area better then they do, so tend to team up with a local (and then ignore whatever help the local gave them when it came time to talk to Reporters). Thus the State Report that the FBI and Sheriff deputy were together makes more sense then the FBI agents report (please note, the FBI denial was by another agent going by memory, no one was citing official reports of the time period).

Just pointing out this is NOT new, going on for at least 80 years.

That's what the flimsy knife story is. They executed him. FBI agents with guns freaking out over a knife? Even if that's true its overkill.

A knife is deadly and can kill. If they were lunged at with a knife, were they supposed to run to the kitchen and get a knife of their own to make it fair? Were they supposed to go after him without a weapon and take the great risk of getting stabbed? You may expect that, but I do not. Of course that's assuming everything they said is true and there was a knife and he did attack them.

State Policemen and the FBI with batman belts filled with devices can't control this guy. Just the fact that there was not a coherent control strategy for arresting this guy stinks. If you are right its still a screw up because wasn't this guy vitally wanted for questioning?
