Romney calls on police commissioner to resign

Source: 10NEWS TAMPA BAY SARASOTA

NEW YORK (AP) — Former GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney is calling for the resignation of a New Hampshire police commissioner who used a racial slur in describing President Barack Obama.

Romney, the former Massachusetts governor, joins some political leaders and residents in the New Hampshire town of Wolfeboro in calling for the resignation of Robert Copeland. Romney owns a home in the town.

He says in a statement, "The vile epithet used and confirmed by the commissioner has no place in our community: He should apologize and resign."

It's a shame that we all know he's only using this opportunity to try and keep his name front/center and seemingly relevant.

RMoney certainly stood up to all the tea-baggers who spewed vile hatred about President Obama during the campaign, so certainly this is just another example of Mittens sticking to his guns when it comes to minorities.

Just because Romney made a statement (A) and afterwards the police chief resigns (B) does not mean (A) caused (B). Even if it did I don't think this shows Romney has leadership qualities.
