EPA chief: Obama will announce new coal rules

By Laura Barron-Lopez - 05/19/14 02:07 PM EDT

President Obama will personally announce new carbon emissions limits on existing coal-fired power plants, the chief of the Environmental Protection Agency said Monday.

McCarthy called the move by Obama to announce the proposal "a strong indication of how important he sees this."

Many of these Dems are young and need to have a reason to vote in November. The Dems in Kentucky and West Virginia will oppose any new rules, and that is to be expected.
