Gun rights group won't be dining at Papillion Texas Roadhouse; event moved to Bellevue restaurant

Source: Omaha World Herald

By Emily Nohr

A Papillion restaurant has nixed a gun rights group’s plan to dine while displaying firearms on their hips.

The group had arranged to eat dinner Thursday at Texas Roadhouse at Shadow Lake Towne Center.

But the restaurant’s managing partner, Steve Jackson, said Tuesday that the group wasn’t clear about its intentions and was no longer welcome if the participants openly wore their firearms.

“I want to feed people — not have a circus in here,” Jackson said.

Geez, I suppose these clowns think they have the right to walk into a bank brandishing their firearms too.

It's about the intimidation and bullying of everyone else.

Plus most of those cowards will never put themselves into a situation why they could possibly be fired back on.

...now they demand the right to open carry everywhere, so that all of us have to view the little phallic symbols strapped to their hips, and ohh and ahh at how much like John Wayne they look.

I'm a gun owner; I have shotguns and rifles for hunting, and a shotgun for home defense, but god I'm getting sick of this in-your-face shit from the people who have no other way of measuring their manhood.

I say we draft every gun owner into an informal militia, and then start well-regulating it.

"...so that all of us have to view the little phallic symbols strapped to their hips, and ohh and ahh at how much like John Wayne they look." They can't go around in public waving their dicks at folks, so in their fantasy world this is the next best thing. But in reality, I'd bet 99% of them would never expose their, um, inadequacies to mockery. They think they're impressing us. Uh huh. Sure.

Gun activism is a symptom of mental illness.

That being said, please proceed gun nuts. You are hurrying the gun free future.

It looked like it in the video.

I guess his right to carry also includes the right to look like he is looking for a shoot-out?

Not like Chipotle who was too wishy-washy when they showed up at one of their stores in Dallas. Someone is going to get killed by these nuts sooner or later. They think they living a video game or playing GI joe, they are completely removed from reality.

If it all it takes is for 6 assholes with cheap shit weapons scaring people to finally burn some common sense into people. Perhaps we should all dress in Camo and Carhardts, buy $200 Mossbergs and terrorize the local Cracker Barrel.
Helluva lot more effective than handing out pamphlets on a street corner!
