3. Many people are spending life in prison over weed

But that was mostly 40 or 50 years ago. Time has taken it's toll finally for life sentences for weed. I didn't think it even existed anymore since the turn of the century.

....about two million dollars, at approximately 40 grand a year.

The costs for imprisonment come directly from budgets of schools, health programs, parks, road maintenance, etc.

anymore that a person is facing life in prison for pot.

there is the teenager in texas facing it for pot brownies and this guy.

all the other stories about life in prison for pot were guys from 20-30 years ago getting sentenced.

the country has moved on from that. we dont want any one being arrested for any kind of amount any longer let alone life in prison

this story demonstrates that not everyone has joined us in the 21st century.

This has been my main beef: It's a effing plant for God's sake. A seed is planted in soil and the plant grows. We teach children in school how to plant seeds and watch the plant grow. And MJ is NOT a dangerous drug. We need to start this damn country over again.

You own marijuana plants, you get charged for a felony, you stalk someone on the internet following you from a Minnesota sports message board to DU, you get a slap on the wrist..

...Sorry that last part was a personal thing that just happened..

First off, each one of the previous regime needs to be occupying one.
