Arizona politician mistakes 'Y' campers for migrant children

Source: Arizona Republic

Republican congressional candidate and state legislator Adam Kwasman had just raced up to Phoenix Tuesday morning from the protest in Oracle over the expected arrival of dozens of migrant children at a shelter.

He had tweeted from the scene, "Bus coming in. This is not compassion. This is the abrogation of the rule of law." He included a photo of the back of a yellow school bus.

Kwasman later told me he saw the migrant children. "I was actually able to see some of the children in the buses. The fear on their faces.... This is not compassion," he said.

But there was a problem with Kwasman's story: There was no fear on their faces. Those weren't the migrant children in the school bus. Those were children from the Marana school district. They were heading to the YMCA's Triangle Y Camp, not far from the Rite of Passage shelter for the migrants, at the base of Mt. Lemmon.

is vying to be my congress-critter, I didn't vote for him two years ago, when he ran for the house or last year when he ran for the state legislature. He is, in person, exactly like he appeared in this clip ... tell you something completely uninformed, expect you to believe it, and when challenged, give a weak apology, without backing down on the substance of what led to the apology.

Is the look of political calculation. He doesn't give a shit about anyone but himself. His rush to get there first means he got it wrong in more ways than one. But he did remind us of one important fact.

There is no such thing as compassionate conservatism. There is only conservatism. And conservatism is, more than anything else, selfishness disguised as a political philosophy.

Which is why he jumped to the conclusion he did. Someone should share with him that rule about ASSuM(e)ing (fun enough I heard it from a teacher in the 10th grade).

The Democrat he's running against looks a little more intelligent, disciplined:

Who but a Republican would stand around in the desert in a suit?

Maybe Richard M. Nixon could have given him some pointers:

Tenor of his voice alone reveals his complete sickery. The beard-trim completed the picture.

Because of lyrics like "you're in a new town/There's no need to be unhappy"

As well as the parts about "you can make real your dreams" and "You can get yourself clean/you can have a good meal/You can do whatever you feel".

Pretty ironic.

So he is completely choosing to ignore the "William Wilberforce Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act of 2008"? Sorry ass hat, that IS the law.

I've said it before and I will say it again... If you want to stem the tide of illegals into this country then you have to do so with a generational plan. Let the kids stay, educate them, then return them to their parent countries as well educated young adults who can actually make a change to their own societies.

Throwing money at a despot ruled country is not an answer. Sending thousands of kids with no hope or future back to those cess pools is not an answer. You have to fix the issue at the root and that is how their countries are run. If we send them back, they will eventually become part of the problem.

For anyone to abridge the TVPRA law in order to get rid of these kids should be drawn and quartered. If we deport them, the go ahead and tear down the statue of liberty because at that point it will stand for absolutely NOTHING!

Arizona #1 - Adam Kwasman can't tell difference between camp kids and immigrants and makes a fool of himself trying to explain it.

Arizona #2 - Sheriff Paul Babeu decides to start trouble instead of stopping it. This hypocrite once tried to force his illegal alien boyfriend to sign a document promising not to reveal their romantic relationship.
