Fort Hood shooter Nidal Hasan asks to be a citizen of Islamic State

Source: San Antonio Express-News

SAN ANTONIO —The former Army psychiatrist condemned to death in the killings of 13 people at Fort Hood wants to become a citizen of the Islamic State.

Nidal Hasan, who said he was on jihad the day he opened up on soldiers in a crowded deployment center on the Texas post, wrote a letter to Fox News saying he wanted to join the terrorist organization that has been responsible for brutal executions, including the beheading of a journalist.

“I formally and humbly request to be made a citizen of the Islamic State,” the network said Hasan wrote in a document he penned to the Islamic State's chief, “Ameer, Mujahid Dr. Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.”

“It would be an honor for any believer to be an obedient citizen soldier to a people and its leader who don't compromise the religion of All-Mighty Allah to get along with the disbelievers.”

It must be costing a fortune to keep him alive, he's paralyzed from the chest down. Just the medical alone is expensive.

Hand him a dishonorable discharge, load him on a gurney, at an announced time push him outside the Ft. Hood gate and let him crawl to Syria or Iraq or wherever he wants to go.

I'm sure his fellow jihadists would be more than glad to show up to take him home.

Too harsh?

Ok.

He can keep the gurney.

We let him be a citizan of ISIS. Last I checked, the punishment for a most heinous crime is to be hanged in public from a crane at the spot the crime occurred.

Saying "Allahu Akbar" is, at least to a scum-sucking politician, the same as saying "I protest these conditions" or "I'm gonna get you, mf'er!" Lying crapheads!

They only said that to preclude families suing for wrongful deaths and/or having to admit combat conditions exist on American soil. In either case, that decision was disgusting.

Somebody must have been channeling Cheney/Rummy that day! A f**ked up decision, that was never overridden.

humanely than the older veterans trapped in private care homes lying in their waste, covered in bed sores and starved to death. But he will get the best of care. I doubt he'll be executed, expect him to live for decades.

I was just ticked off about this guy, and probably shouldn't have posted. Thanks for the answer to my question.
