Oklahoma City archbishop worries showdown over satanic 'black mass' may loom
by Carla Hinton and William Crum Modified: September 18, 2014 at 10:14 pm • Published: September 18, 2014

Good versus evil.

That’s the phrase more than one person has used to describe the satanic “black mass” planned for the Civic Center Music Hall and the huge outcry from the Christian faith community it has drawn from Oklahoma and around the world.

“Even though our city leaders apparently do not take this threat seriously, I do,” Roman Catholic Archbishop Paul S. Coakley wrote Thursday in his column posted on the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City’s website. “As a Catholic priest and bishop I have witnessed in my ministry the battle between forces of good and evil in both ordinary and extraordinary ways.”

Coakley will host a large prayer gathering at a church nowhere near the Civic Center on Sunday, and another religious group is planning to hold a worship service a few blocks away from the venue but earlier in the day.

However, at least three individuals and groups have requested permits to protest outside the Civic Center, 201 N Walker, where the black mass is scheduled to be held at 7 p.m. Sunday.

The situation there could be ripe for ugly confrontations as Christians, outraged by what they see as a mockery of their faith’s beliefs, square off with satanists and others attending the controversial event.

"The authenticity and purpose of the Black Mass will remain in tact while allowing for slight changes so that a public viewing can occur without breaking Oklahoma's laws based on nudity, public urination, and other sex acts."

I go to fourteen Black Masses a week, the best part is the orgy they wedge in between the time we sacrifice the goat and when we all have milk and cookies.

Let me see...they're not going to have an orgy, they're not going to have any animal sacrifices and Oklahoma City is too far to drive for refreshments. How many more "slight" changes are they going to spring on us? "Oh, we're not gonna worship the devil, sorry, now pray in Jesus' name."

The consecrated host is corrupted by sexual fluids then it becomes the sacrifice of the mass.

If it's on the weekend and we've got plenty of time, we pray to Satan, corrupt the host, pray to Satan some more, sacrifice a goat if we can get one, then have the orgy and finally break out the refreshments. If it's a Wednesday morning and you've got to get it over with quick so you can make it to Burger Express for the $2 Cheeseburger Special before the lunch rush, we whip off a quick "Hail Satan," do the nasty on the altar, and use the fluids from the orgy to consecrate the host.

one more question.

Who is this host you are corrupting and consecrating?

Inquiring minds want to know.

The people who are holding the Mass in OKC tho, the Host they're talking about is a Catholic communion wafer, which the RCC calls the Host. Hopefully no one has to eat it.

Christians believe it only exists for them.. Anything they do under the aegis of faith is protected, but believe in a different deity and you're "evil".

... I wonder if the city would be so quick to grant permits for a protest outside a Christian ceremony.

Christians, Jews, and Muslims can't seem to gun or bomb each other out of existance fast enough. Seems to me the Satanist are the most peaceful of the bunch.

Makes you wonder.
