Four charged in Green Acre dog boarding deaths

Maricopa County court officials say four people have been charged with multiple felony and misdemeanor counts of cruelty to animals in connection with the June deaths of 21 dogs and the injury of four others at a Gilbert dog boarding facility.

Court officials said Jesse Todd Hughes, Malesia Maurine Hughes, Austin Lane Flake and Logan Flake were indicted Wednesday afternoon.

On June 21, 2014, more than 20 dead and injured dogs were discovered at Green Acre Dog Boarding facility near Greenfield and Queen Creek Roads in Gilbert.

I think a 20 year prison sentence wouldn't be asking too much, though I would like more. Say as long as those dogs are dead.
