Protesters Block I-580 In Oakland Following Ferguson Grand Jury Decision

Source: CBS

OAKLAND (CBS SF) — Protesters in Oakland have walked onto the west and eastbound lanes of I-580, shutting the highway down in a protest over a grand jury’s decision to not indict a police officer in a fatal Missouri shooting.

The protesters blocked the freeway at Grand Avenue.

About 500 people gathered in downtown Oakland Monday evening to protest.

People holding signs that read “The People Say Guilty!” and “Missouri, Palestine, Justice Now!” were blocking an intersection on city streets in downtown as part of the protest.

The effects of this non-decision will be felt far and wide.

I imagine social justice should indeed, take a secondary, heck, possibly a tertiary role to the guy who had nothing to do with anything.

'Cause you know... being inconvenienced and all is a crime against humanity.

I had nothing to do with anything. Don't block me in because I will find a way around anyway, on the grass if I have to.
