WASHINGTON – Omaha’s former congressman is headed to K Street.

Lee Terry, a Republican, will be a senior adviser in the government relations and public policy section in the Washington, D.C., office of Kelley, Drye and Warren.

In a press release, the law firm touted the experience Terry garnered during eight terms representing Omaha in the U.S. House.

“Throughout his career in public service, Congressman Terry helped shape federal policy in the energy, telecommunications and manufacturing industries and championed the causes of business and commerce,” the firm said in its release.

This guy emerged from the shut down meeting and was obviously giddy about it on the video.

He is being repaid for all the things he did that the lobbyists wanted for 16 years.

Now he won't have to worry about his nice home and kids in college.
