The time is up: Protect civilians in the Central African Republic
The situation is dire. A Muslim exodus of historic proportions is taking place before our eyes, leaving civilians in desperate need for protection and humanitarian assistance. Thank you for taking action, and for adding your name to the 67227 signatures urging the US Administration and the international community to implement effective short-term measures immediately and to deploy a strong UN Peacekeeping operation by 15 September. On 10 April 2014, the UN Security Council unanimously adopted Resolution 2149, an important step in the right direction. Amnesty International is advocating for its implementation.
