"The Negro People in American History" (600-page 1954 book in PDF format)

Some here may find it interesting. Anyone who starts reading it will probably pick up that the author was... pretty strongly on the left side of things.

The same author also wrote a history of the Americas covering the pre-colonial period onwards in 1951 and a history of the Communist Party USA in 1952 (which devotes many pages to pre-CPUSA Marxists and radicals of the prior century.)

another addition to my important read list....AA have provided so much blood, sweat and tears to this land and we are still adding it to this land....when, just when? Freedom is a relative term when it comes to AA.
