Spokesman: Iranian Courts Render $50bln Verdict against US Administration

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iran's Judiciary Spokesman Gholam Hossein Mohseni Ejei announced that the country's courts have issued rulings that charge the US administration with the payment of a total 50-billion-dollar fine for the losses it has incurred on real and legal entities.

"Those who had filed a lawsuit against the US, their complaints have been processed," Ejei told reporters in a press conference in Tehran on Monday.

He said after the court hearings and completion of judicial procedures, of only a number of complaints, the Iranian courts have issued verdicts against the US administration that charge Washington to pay a total $50bln to compensate for a part of the losses it has inflicted on Iranian legal entities and real persons.

Since the Islamic Revolution in Iran in 1979, the US has inflicted heavy loss and damage on the country, including killing the Iranian nationals by assisting their enemies, including Saddam and different terrorist groups against Tehran.
