Trump Fans Just Created Their Own "Brownshirts" To "Protect" Rallies From Protesters

From: http://occupydemocrats.com/2016/03/14/trump-fans-just-created-brownshirts-protect-rallies-protesters/
---
The sad and twisted tale of Donald Trump’s rise has taken an even darker turn. After Trump supporters provoked a conflict with Sanders protesters and got a rally shut down in Chicago, his rabid followers took to Twitter to begin organizing a “militia” – the Lion’s Guard – to defend Trump supporters and rallies against “leftist agitators.” Calling themselves the “red caps” (in reference to Trump’s iconic Make America Hate Great Again red hats), the parallels to Adolf Hitler’s Stormtroopers (Sturmabteilung or SA or “Brownshirts”), which was created to protect Nazi rallies from protesters, are too many to ignore.

And just the other day i posted that Trump would likely revive either Brown shirts(Germany), black shirts(Italy), or silver shirts(US)

The Sturmabteilung (SA; German pronunciation: [ˈʃtʊɐ̯mʔapˌtaɪlʊŋ] ( listen); literally "Storm Detachment&quot functioned as the original paramilitary wing of the Nazi Party.
Their primary purposes were providing protection for Nazi rallies and assemblies, disrupting the meetings of opposing parties, fighting against the paramilitary units of the opposing parties

Sounds the same to me.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silver_Legion_of_America

A white-supremacist, anti-Semitic group[2] modeled after Hitler's Brownshirts, the paramilitary Silver Legion wore a silver shirt with a tie along with a campaign hat and blue corduroy trousers with leggings. The uniform shirts bore a scarlet letter L over the heart: an emblem meant to symbolize Loyalty to the United States, Liberation from materialism, and the Silver Legion itself. The blocky slab serif L-emblem was in a typeface similar to the present-day Rockwell Extra Bold. The organizational flag was a plain silver field with such a red L in the canton at the upper left.

it's when they've established a reputation for brutality and stand 'legally' yet 'visibly armed with weapons and cameras' just outside (legal range) of a voting location

That's when danger starts happening for real.

I've always loved that quote. What could be more benign than a flag and a Bible? That's what makes the concept so frightening.

the American flag is benign...to many outside America...it's not
To a Christian, the bible is benign, to countries 'converted at the sword' it's not

A long time ago i saw a movie (could have been twilight zone episode..not sure) it was in black and white and was about America as occupied by Soviet, it was all in a classroom with a 'soviet' teacher speaking perfect English of course propagandizing the class of (call it 8 or 10 year olds or so). At the time to me it reminded me of reading of Hitler Jugend (sp?)during history class

now...it forewarns me

but it's a good quote, and for the US very true
wrap fascism in Flag, Bible, add a little mickey D, a little wrestling, baseball and football and American apple pie (actually usually Dutch apple pie usually) and call it patriotism and it'll sell just dandy

religion patriotism bread and circuses

The Romans knew this centuries ago: Give the masses bread (or apple pie) and circuses (or the sports and entertainment as you mention) and they will ignore what's going on.

Göring:
Why, of course, the people don't want war.

Why would some poor slob on a farm want to risk his life in a war when the best that he can get out of it is to come back to his farm in one piece?

Naturally, the common people don't want war; neither in Russia nor in England nor in America, nor for that matter in Germany.

That is understood. But, after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy or a fascist dictatorship or a Parliament or a Communist dictatorship.

Gilbert:
There is one difference. In a democracy, the people have some say in the matter through their elected representatives, and in the United States only Congress can declare wars.

Göring:
Oh, that is all well and good, but, voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country.

Because you can foresee that they'll develop a reputation for brutality and violence and once that's established...

take a stance outside voting locations with visible weapons, uniforms and cameras, at a legal distance from it

their message of:

'yes, we are legal now; but see the cameras? we'll know who you are, and then where you and your family live! see the weapons? we can get to you and are willing to use them! see the uniforms? there are quite a few of us and we are organized and will get you if you don't either vote our way, or walk away!'

would still be clear

voter intimidation can be quite effective
