Oh Ricky You're So Fine You Blow My Mind!- Kathy Malloy
Yes... an OP by Mike Malloy's wife
Rick Santorum continues to prove that America is suffering a national nervous breakdown. Jesus of Pennsylvania has taken his revival to the road, and is preaching some extreme theocracy to adoring, applauding crowds. Holy Rick is making some outrageous statements, but remains the front-runner. Mass hysteria can be the only explanation.
Just this week, Rick suggested that the President wanted to kill disabled babies. Yes, that's right. Speaking to a bunch of rapture-ready lunatics in Ohio, Sick Santorum suggested that, by offering free pre-natal screening, President Obama's health care program ...
"...ends up in more abortions and therefore less care that has to be done because we cull the ranks of the disabled in our society. That, too, is part of Obamacare, another hidden message as to what President Obama thinks of those who are less able than the elites who want to govern our country."
The masses clapped and cheered like fervent lemmings.
Encouraged, Santorum took a deep breath and dove back in...

(18,541 posts)He gets good discussion and great debate at home, as much as he does at work. Proving, again, the good guys aren't afraid or intimidated by smart women. What would he be without her? I doubt he'd disagree.
It's a shame Republicans (and let's not tell them) are afraid of women as intellectual equals. They'd really benefit and grow. Of course, then they'd be Democrats.

(18,541 posts)Kathy never expected a career in radio as a talk show producer. Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Kathy was completing her nursing degree when in 2001 - in an emergency - she was asked to fill in as the producer of Mike's program. Within a few weeks she knew she'd found more than a temporary job. Since that beginning, Kathy has steadily grown more comfortable behind the control console, editing, engineering, and assisting in topic selection for the program while also retaining a fairly sizeable chunk of her sanity. Oh, and did we mention the utter (joyful) chaos of raising a daughter who, for some odd reason, only stops talking when she's asleep. Strange, that.
A life-long "talk radio junkie," Kathy takes her job with all the seriousness required, and thoroughly enjoys producing a talk show that's intelligent, factual, informative, and most of all entertaining. She takes great pride in -- and has great fun with -- the two biggest joys in her life: Their daughter Molly, and producing one of the most dynamic talk programs in radio.
