Kellyanne Conway Says Donald Trump Shouldn’t Be Held Accountable For The Things He Says

CNN “New Day” host Chris Cuomo called out Trump for mocking a disabled New York Times reporter during a 2015 rally. But Conway insisted that’s not what he was doing.

“That is not what he did and he has said that 1,000 times,” she said Monday morning. “Why can’t you give him the benefit of the doubt?”

Cuomo shot back, “He can say it a million times but look at the video... he’s making a disgusting gesture on video.”

“Why is everything taken at face value?” she asked. “You can’t give him the benefit of the doubt on this and he’s telling you what was in his heart, you always want to go with what’s come out of his mouth rather than look at what’s in his heart.”

There's no way I can guess, but she may well be a sociopath without conscience who enjoys manipulating and betraying an entire nation and becoming wealthy and powerful for it. Whatever, that aging we're seeing is certainly not from guilt but rather the stress of being The Donald's "whisperer." The stakes are huge, after all, and those billionaires will certainly be giving orders and expecting results.

I have never found any evidence of an ideology beyond "conservative," though, and in that respect Perky may instead just be the kind of follower who's adopted the self-induced political insanity characteristic of the right these days. A small person jumped up far, far beyond her ability to understand or meet the responsibilities to a nation that landed in her lap.

Come on, this is the stuff of a Saturday Night Live Skit. This cannot be real. She did not say, "you always want to go with what's come out of his mouth rather than look at what's in his heart". Ten years ago this is what comedians would say as a joke. Politicians and their advisors would get mocked for making this type of statement. We are at the point now where we have to question whether or not stories are coming from The Onion.
