Officials hate each other:5 disturbing revelations about whats happening inside Trumps White House

Saturday, Feb 11, 2017 05:29 PM EST

"Morale is low, factionalism is rampant and exhaustion is running high"

Three weeks into his administration, Donald Trump is already considering overhauling the White House. And somehow, that may not even be at the top of his (growing) list of concerns.

A galling new investigation from Politico, based on interviews with two dozen people who have spent time with Trump since the inauguration, suggests the president is completely cowed by the complexities and responsibilities of managing a federal bureaucracy, his staffers bordering on mutinous: “[It’s] a powder-keg of a workplace where job duties are unclear, morale among some is low, factionalism is rampant and exhaustion is running high.”

Here are five of the more explosive findings from its bombshell report:

1. Trump possesses a tenuous grasp of how government actually works.

“Trump often asks simple questions about policies, proposals and personnel. And, when discussions get bogged down in details, the president has been known to quickly change the subject — to “seem in control at all times,” one senior government official said — or direct questions about details to his chief strategist Steve Bannon, his son-in-law Jared Kushner or House Speaker Paul Ryan. Trump has privately expressed disbelief over the ability of judges, bureaucrats or lawmakers to delay — or even stop — him from filling positions and implementing policies.”

2. Leaks from the White House are driving him up the wall.

“The administration is considering limiting the universe of aides with access to the calls or their transcripts, said one administration official, adding that the leaks — and Trump’s anger over them — had created a climate where people are “very careful who they talk to.

I went to Nordstrom today. Bought a few little things. I told several of the sales associates that I was happily back shopping there again because their company dumped Ivanka trump. One of them said - "there's been a lot of that!" I asked each of them to be sure and tell their managers this.

And then, downstairs in the parking lot, I spotted a woman starting to pull out of her parking space, with an "I'm with Her" bumper sticker on the back of her car. Open driver's side window! As I walked past, I said "Like your bumper sticker!" She looked at me and smiled - bigly!

NEVER hesitate to spread the good word! Even if it's only an "attagirl" or an "attaboy" for as simple a gesture as a friendly bumper sticker. Reward and reinforce good behavior!

in her Post opinion piece today: A single episode of “The West Wing” would have taught Trump more about his new job than he seems to know — or care.

Kathleen Parker's an interesting one. Supposedly a CONservative. But she's remarkably openminded, and sometimes she's totally on the good-guys side. She made yet another good point here, with this.

The shitgibbon is starting to discover things don't work the same way in government as they do when you own the company. When you're the CEO or owner, you can just snap your fingers and dictate what's so, and everybody underneath you has to comply. Because you're their boss and they have to do what you say. Dammit, government Simply Doesn't Work That Way! I've had this argument with so many half-wits who insist it's time to "run the government like a BIZniss." They just don't realize it won't work the way they assume it's supposed to. Cuz it's all alike and there's no difference between the two, dontchaknow.

Yeah, my ass. I doubt trump will ever fully embrace this. Having to make a change this big and this dramatic and this profound, at age 70, when he's used to doing it HIS way and having it all HIS way and ruling like a dictator, HIS way, is probably not gonna be a smooth transition for him to make. I suspect it may be damn near impossible for him to wrap his little brain around that idea. It will be a COLOSSAL blow to his super-collosal ego to have to accept that the job he holds now - is that of a PUBLIC SERVANT. You are a SERVANT, Donald. You serve some 300+ million bosses. You face a "board of directors" that has 538 people in it (House and Senate). And that group, in particular, gets to weigh in on everything you do. You do not operate in a vacuum, as the sole lord and master. There are two separate collectives of people whose purpose is to check and balance you. They manage YOU and they oversee YOU and they tell YOU what you're allowed to do - and HOW you're supposed to do it. THEY dictate. NOT you. The lower courts just gave you your first smackdown. And those 300+ bosses of yours have the last word over you. THEY get to decide whether you stay or go. Unless, of course, you resign or get your pompous clueless ass IMPEACHED and removed.

I would assume that his image of being a "successful businessman"
is just pure, contrived bullshit. I imagine that he is a horrible CEO.
His management style fails to meet basic standards.
