"I'VE KEPT MY STORY SECRET FOR THE LAST 25 YEARS -- I DIDN'T WANT TO TAKE THIS TO MY GRAVE"

A retired UPS driver reveals new details about cult leader David Koresh and what led up to the deadly 1993 standoff with law enforcement in Waco, Texas

In his first interview ever, a retired Texas United Parcel Service driver reveals to "48 Hours" that he unwittingly delivered large boxes of military-grade guns and ammunition to Branch Davidian cult leader David Koresh in the months and weeks before the siege in Waco, Texas, that would capture the attention of the world in 1993. Now, as the 25th anniversary of the standoff nears, Peter Van Sant and "48 Hours" investigate the cult and what led to a deadly 51-day siege.

Nearly a quarter century ago, God, guns and government collided so violently in the quiet Texas town of Waco that its impact is still being felt today. But how did it come to this?

David Koresh to 911: There are 75 men around our building and they're shooting at us. … Tell 'em there are children and women in here and to call it off!

Operator: Alright, alright uh … hello? I hear gun fire. Oh s---!

treated unfairly by only giving him 51 days to surrender before going in to get him and the young girls he raped. One of the excuses they use to arm up, and I suppose help elect the likes of Trump.

boiled down, it means "one who has sex with weapons." (hoplo-, weapon; -sexual, (you can figure it out...)) aka "gun-humper"...

Many years ago, my gun-obsessed brother left me some gun-related literature that used the word "hoplophobe." (meaning, one who fears weapons.) So I derived the word "hoplosexual" from that. Somebody else coined the word "ammosexual", but I think "hoplosexual" is more accurately descriptive of the more extreme gun-nuts, who, I can well imagine, actually do fellate the barrels of their weapons. It has become my term of choice.

of Koresh and what he was about called "The Sinful Messiah." The paper was due to run the series starting the Sunday before the raid by the ATF and was asked by the ATF to postpone the printing to allow them to do the raid. This was a cluster fuck from the beginning, but the blame for the deaths of those kids lay solely with Koresh, who could not face death by the flames he started and so had one of his followers shoot him.

He used "religion" to justify what he did. Such justification makes all religion look bad.

Led to the OKC bombing on the anniversary of the shootout.

Remember when li'l bush bought his presidentin photo op ranch in 2000? Originally they said the ranch was in Waco, then changed it to Crawford. He sold it as soon as he left office, and moved to Dallas city.

But the OKC bomber had a lot of issues, starting with deciding the USA was the "bad guy" when serving in Iraq I.

I've tried to figure out his motivations a couple of times, and finally cam to the conclusion he was pissed he didn't make special forces unit and then decided to blame everyone but himself.

They also picked the target, a federal building in the next state, instead of Dallas's federal building.

Go figure.
