Fox News anchor Shannon Bream had a sudden change of plans on the night of President Donald Trump‘s historic announcement of his Supreme Court nominee.

After the big primetime reveal by the president, Bream had planned on doing a live show from outside the steps of the Supreme Court. But her plans were scuttled thanks to protests near her broadcast location.

“Very few times I’ve felt threatened while out in the field. The mood here tonight is very volatile,” Bream tweeted. “Law enforcement appears to be closing down 1st Street in front of SCOTUS.”

She followed up that tweet with another, informing her followers that she was taking her show into her “safe” studio.

In VERY hostile conditions. tRump even pointed them out, called them names and encouraged the audience to “take them out”. It got so bad that Katy had to be escorted out for her safety. But she never retreated to her “safe” studio.

7. I think what you are seeing all around now w/ the protests against Kellyanne, Stephen M., etc....

and anybody else associated w/ rump is that everyone is fed up with the constant abuse that these guttersnipes keep dishing out against just about everybody else and we are finally speaking out against the constant abuse, very vocally.

Just about anybody has been abused verbally by rump and/or his staff in some manner, over the past several years, and frankly, most decent Americans are getting fed up w/ it (I know I am, and in particular, I'm getting tired of the childish behavior constantly on display and the lack of civility on rump's part towards anyone). And where's Congress in all of this?

I predict that this will continue, and will get worse. It'll get to the point that no one will want to do any business w/ any of the rump crowd, no one will want these people in their establishments, no one will want anything to do w/ these people in any shape, form or fashion. All bankrupt morally, 100% through and through.

KEEP UP w/ the protests, apparently they are working!!

After all, we're simply exercising our 1st amendment rights too. Plain and simple.
