Alan Dershowitz: Comparing Trump’s Summit Performance to Kristallnacht is a ‘Form of Holocaust Denial’

Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz blasted critics of President Donald Trump who have compared his performance at the Helsinki summit alongside Russian President Vladimir Putin to the Holocaust.

Dershowitz began by dismissing those who called Trump “treasonous,” telling Hannity guest host Judge Jeanine Pirro that treason consists only “in levying war against the United States or adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort.”

“You can’t just throw that term around,” Dershowitz insisted. “It’s the only crime defined specifically in the Constitution.”

But before moving on, he took pundits to task who have invoked the Holocaust, particularly MSNBC contributor Jill Wise-Banks for comparing Trump’s remarks at Monday’s press conference to Kristallnacht.
