House Conservatives File Impeachment Articles Against Rod Rosenstein

A bloc of conservative House Republicans filed articles of impeachment on Wednesday against Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, escalating their war against federal law enforcement to new heights.

The group of 11 lawmakers, led by Freedom Caucus leaders Rep. Mark Meadows, R-N.C., and Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, have been threatening to file impeachment articles for months. They say Rosenstein is withholding documents from Congress and has mishandled the 2016 election investigations.

"For nine months we've warned them consequences were coming, and for nine months we've heard the same excuses backed up by the same unacceptable conduct," Meadows said in a statement. "It's time to find a new deputy attorney general who is serious about accountability and transparency."

The Justice Department said it had no comment.

2. They need to understand

This will only help incite more people to vote them all out of office, and speed up the investigations they'll be soon facing for conspiring to undermine , impede, obstruct, or end the most important investigation this country has ever had, and to protect both trump and putin . They'll regret doing this when the wheels of justice bear down upon them for this, and it will , and they will have to answer for what they've been doing against this country , undermining the rule of law for corrupt criminals.
