Tues. Aug. 7: *Documenting Hate: Charlottesville* Film Premier, PBS Frontline

New Documentary From ProPublica & Frontline Chronicles a Year of Reporting on Violent White Supremacists & Neo-Nazis.

On Aug. 7, “Documenting Hate: Charlottesville” premieres on PBS. Sign up to our newsletter and we’ll send it to you when it’s live.

In “Documenting Hate: Charlottesville,” Frontline & ProPublica investigate the white supremacists and neo-Nazis involved in the 2017 Charlottesville Unite the Right rally.

Our joint reporting has already shed new and troubling light on the events of Aug. 11 and 12, 2017 — revealing that one participant in the violence, Vasillios Pistolis, was an active-duty Marine, and that another, Michael Miselis, worked for a major defense contractor and held a U.S. government security clearance.

Now, correspondent A.C. Thompson goes even deeper, showing how some of those behind the racist violence nearly one year ago went unpunished and continued to operate around the country.

This is the first in a series of two “Documenting Hate” films from Frontline and ProPublica, with the second coming later this fall.

Tune into the premiere on PBS on Aug. 7 at 10 p.m. Eastern, 9 p.m. Central and online at pbs.org/frontline.

called Unite The Right. Russian bots have been posting a fake protest aimed at Dem Resisters. Fakebook noticed it and stopped if from being spread to more Fakebook users. The goal of the Russian bots is to get them to go to the rally in hopes that more violence and divisiveness will occur between the two groups. I would avoid this protest since it is a set up by the Russians and it will be dangerous since these bullies are empowered when they are with their peers.

with so much security and many law enforcement agencies. I hope and pray that tensions are reduced, violence is nill and nobody gets hurt. The negative actions of those bots, not good. We shall see.

Years back in the early 90s we read about a Klan group from Md. coming to DC. So we checked it out, were in front of the Capitol for an hour or so. But it was empty, a no show- wrong town! Matters are considerably more 'enhanced' now though.
