THIS is the scandal that will bring the GOP down

Trump basically stole military funding earmarked for various states, many of them red states to fund his idiotic wall. This is not only dumb but impeachable and horrible politics. If the Democrats are smart, they will put up a big stink about this and use this as a hammer against every GOP represenative and Senator from these states that have supported the bed bug in chief. I like to post right leaning republican slam downs of Trump, carries more weight. Here is Judge Napolitano's take.

friend posted this pic that's been going around showing a long stretch of wall being built out in the desert with a smiling Trump added like a photo bomb.

He got blasted back by my friends asking him to show us any context that the pic was current. Of course there are all kinds of wall building pics. It exists and had to have been built at some time. Those guys actually fall for that shit!

If there are really crews out there going like hell to put up the wall, there would be no end to the posts and news stories about it. It would be like when they built the transcontinental railroad with crews bragging about how much wall they put up how fast.

Republican voters do not care what these people do. At all. You might think this would hurt them but it won’t, because they don’t really care about the military. 5. I think this will have an effect

especially on women in those areas. The exact amounts are known, so the ads can just state how many millions were stolen to Kentucky to give to Mexico (because they were supposed to pay the bill and didn't). The area around Ft. Campbell is very red, and very dependent on military spending. Military wives will notice that the new school they were promised isn't being built.

However, I don't expect the Democrats in the House to get it together to do that. They're not strategic enough. Every time I hold out hope that they're going to do something to "bring down the GOP crime syndicate" they blow it. I will not hold my breath any longer. Until the new guard who aren't afraid of their own shadows gains more power there are going to be many more strongly worded letters and a whole lot of nothing being done to bury them, which, let's face it, is the only thing that will save us. There have been so many opportunities. Every one wasted.

this was all done with a NATIONAL EMERGENCY declaration, so is essentially legal under that declaration - even though Trump said he didn't want or need to declare the emergency. Maybe if the case gets to SCOTUS, they'll reject him, but every national emergency before has never really been challenged by Congress.

30. I've heard so much about ...this is the ...that will bring the GOP down.

That I have come to believe, that only the WH having a State dinner for GOP Senators and House representatives and then having Trump take a dump in the salad in their view, would make some of them maybe consider not eating the salad.

I have faith that fully 99% of those in attendance would not only eat said salad, but would ask for seconds.

Following the meal, the 99% would then be prepared to go on TV and share with the print media - how wonderful said salad was.

I have zero faith in the GOP putting the country before their loyalty to the Ass-wipe in chief.
